Objective: To explore the relationship between the erythrocytes CR1 polymorphisms with Deficiency Syndrome of TCM in patients with gastric carcinoma. Methods: The CR1 density-associate genotype(HH type, HL type, LL type) on erythrocyte was measured in 102 patients with gastric cancer and 50 normal individuals by polymerase chain reaction amplification (PCR) and restrictive fragment length polymorphism(RFLP). Collecting each patients's symptom, deficiency Syndrome of TCM, combined CR1 genome type with deficiency Syndrome of TCM to calculate there relation, and using certain drugs which can modulate immunity to discuss the difference betweem them. Results: The erythrocytes CR1 polymorphisms has three types : high ,midst and below. Deficiency Syndrome of TCM has six types, which has relationship with CR1 polymorphisms. The effect which drugs has difference. Conclusion: There is relationship between the erythrocytes CR1 polymorphisms and Deficiency Syndrome of TCM in patients with gastric carcinoma.
