A Clinical Study On Correlation Between Serum High Sensitive C Reactive Protein And Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective To study the relationship between high sensitive C reactive protein (hs-CRP) and rheumatoid arthritis(RA) and the value of Xuesaitong injection in RA, analyze the connection between the serum levels of hs-CRP and other inflammation and immune indices in the patients with RA, investigate the significance of hs-CRP in the process of RA and the clinic value of serum hs-CRP test in the patients with RA.Methods The serum levels of hs-CRP were detected by Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The levels of erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) were tested by Wei-method. The levels of IgG, IgA, IgM, C3 and C4 were tested by Array 360 system. The datas were analyzed by the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences(SPSS,version 12.0 for Microsoft Windows).Results(1) The levels of hs-CRP [(11.72±3.41) mg /L] , ESR [(51.68±11.85) mm/h ] ,IgG [(24.32±8.58) g/L] ,IgA [(4.37±1.38) g/L] and IgM [(3.77±1.26) g /L] were significant higher in RA group than in the control group. The levels of C₃ [(0.51±0.19) g/L] and C₄ [(0.20±0.07) g/L] were lower in RA group than in the control group. There was significant difference between two groups, P <0.05.(2) The levels of hs-CRP in RA patients were positively related to ESR, IgG, IgA arid IgM levels,the correlations of ESR, IgG, IgA and IgM to hs-CRP were 0.75,0.61,0.64 and 0.62,respectively, P＜0.05. The levels of hs-CRP in RA patients were negatively related to C₃ and C₄ levels, the correlations of C₃ and C₄ to hs-CRP were -0.66 and -0.63, respectively, P＜0.05.(3) The positive rate of serum hs-CRP levels was 77.8% in RA group,and it was 7.5% in the control group. There was significant difference between two groups, P＜0.05.(4) The treated levels of hs-CRP in Xuesaitong injection group [(5.78±1.54) mg/L]and the experiment control group[(8.36±2.81)mg/L]were significant lower than the untreated levels of hs-CRP in two groups, respectively. The treated levels of hs-CRP in Xuesaitong injection group [(5.78±1.54) mg/L] was significant lower than the experiment control group [(8.36±2.81) mg/L]. There was significant difference between two groups, P＜0.05.Conclusion The serum levels of hs-CRP were elevated and there are different changes in the levels of ESR,IgG, IgA, IgM,C₃ and C₄ in patients with RA. The serum levels of hs-CRP significantly decreased in RA patients with Xuesaitong injection treated.Its indicate that the high level of serum hs-CRP is closely related to RA, maybe take part in the immune turbulence of body and the process of systemic inflammation, maybe was related to the occurrence of cardivessel and metabolic diseases in RA patients. Xuesaitong injection has anti-inflammation effect. There was clinical significance in the detection of serum hs-CRP in RA patients.
