The main pathogenic agent is mycoplasm pneumoniae (MP) by droplet infection. There is no difference between seasons. In the recent year, the morbidity has gone up year by year. After mycoplasm pneumoniae enters respiratory tract,on one side it adheres to epithelial cell closely which causes damage to epithelium mucosae and presents symptoms. On the other side, acting as a external antigen it can stimulate body immune system to produce immune response and occur the disturbance of cellular immunity and humoral immunity. In addition, there is partial common antigen between MP antigen and tissues, such as heart, lung, liver, brain, kidney, etc. As a result, it causes extra-pulmonary manifestation. With the increasing development of immunological theory and technique, the immunological mechanism of mycoplasmal pneumonia has been cleared gradually. At present, there are two...
