The Value Of Multi-slice Spiral CT Virtual Colonoscopy In The Diagnosis Of Colon Occupying Lesions

Purpose:To study the clinical value of multi-slice spiral CT virtual colonoscopy in the Diagnosis of Colorectal occupying lesionSMaterials and Methods : Collected 40 patients who came to the second clinical hospital of JILIN UNIVERSTY frome from March 2004 to October 2005.among them ,male (n=26), female(n=14),the minimal age 40year ,maximal age 73years.The volume scan of MSCT was performed in whole colon of 30 cases , then data was transmitted to the work station ,multiplanar reconstruction(MPR) , virtual colorectaloscopy (CTVC), 3D surface shaded display (SSD) , Ray sum (4D) were performed respectively. The cases included colic carcinoma ( n = 32) , colonic polyps( n = 8) , All cases were proved by the surgical findings or the fiberocolonoscope biopsy except diverticula,The results were compared andanayzed according to the image processing.
