| Objective To summarize the ways of pancreaticoentericanastomosis in the pancreatic operation. To study the safety andfeasibility of a new operative procedure called end-to-endinvagination pancreaticojejunostomy with circle discontinuous Usuture used to prevent anastomotics leakage followingpancreaticojejunostomy(PJ).Method Eighty-three patients receiving pancreaticoduodenectomyin our hospital between 2001 January and 2006 April were reviewed. The types of pancreaticojejunostomy included pancreaticojejunalend-to-end anastomosis, end-to-side anastomosis and end-to-endinvagination with circle discontinuous U suture.Result The overall incidence of pancreatic leakage was 27%. Theleakage rate following end-to-end invagination pancreatico-jejunostomy with circle discontinuous U suture was significantlylower than those of end-to-end anastomosis (P<0.01) and those ofend-to-side anastomosis(P<0.05), but there was no significantdifference between end-to-end anastomosis and end-to-sideanastomosis (P>0.05).Conclusion The procedure has a definite effect to avoidanastomotics leakage following pancreaticojejunostomy and wouldbe worthy of being recommended. But because the cases were solack, the procedure would need be approved more in the future. |
