PART 1: Study the experimental model of retina pigment epithelial degeneration.Objective:Retina degeneration is a series of blinden diseases due to the degeneration of retinal pigment epithelial and apoptosis of photoreceptor cells. The causes of these diseases are not clear and now there is no effective treatment. The present investigation shows that retina transplantation perhaps will be the method complied into practice. And the use of model is essential. So our investigation was to study making the model of RPE degeneration and to prepare for the study of retina transplantation.Methods:1 Photocoagulation: 12 pigmented rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal groups,experiment (1),(2) and (3) group and the experiment group were correspondingly photocoagulated using 1,1~2,2-grade photic spot. All rabbits were killed post-photocoagulation at 1,3,7 days. We observed the photic by performing HE staining and the micro-structure under electric microscope.
