Objective: Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic non-specificity inflammatory bowel disease. Its inflammatory reaction showed hyperfunction and difficulty in self-curing. Although its pathogenesis is still unknown, there are evidences showing that many ingredients including environment, inheritance, infection, immune, allergy and psychological factors may be involved in its development. It is widely believed that unusual immunological mechanisms, which include inflammation transmitter, cytokines and immunoregulation, play an important role in the process. The cytokines are a group of widespread biological active small molecule polypeptides that are synthesized and secreted by the immunocyte and the non-immunocyte. many kinds of Cytokines participate in the course of the immunoreaction and inflammation, which has became one of the focuses about UC at present. It is believed that tumor necrosis factorα(TNF-α), interleukin-16(IL-16) and interleukin-17(IL-17) are the three kinds of important cytokines, which participate in the immunoreaction and inflammation course in many kinds of diseases rsepectively. We aimed at investigating the expression of TNF-α, IL-16 and IL-17... |
