Primary Bilateral Breast Cancer

The morbidity of PBBC (primary bilateral breast cancer ) is low , but steadly rising these years. So, we reviewed domestic and foreign literatures and systematically introduced the etiology, epidemiologicdata , diagnosis, treatment, particularly prevention of this disease. In terms of whether the time interval is longer than 6 months , PBBC can be devided into two categories—syschronous and metachronous. The risk assessment of PBBC is wide but the gene mutation is the focus. Because the PBBC is not metastasis, it should be treated actively and its prognosis don' t differ significantly from unilateral disease .About prevention from PBBC ,there are many strategy and debates yet.
