| Deep vein thrombosis(DVT) and pulmonary thromboembolism(PTE) are separate but related aspects of the same dynamic disease process know as venous thromboembolism(VTE).VTE is common medical problem with high morbidity and death.Approximately PTE results from sudden occlusion of pulmonary arteries by thromboemboli originating in the deep vein of the calf. The multi-factorial processes and multi-directional interactions of VTE-related events make it difficult to clearly explain all pathophysiologic consequences of VTE.Thrombosis initiates a complex inflammatory response after VTE.Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) ,know as bascular permeability factor or vasculotropin, may participate in thrombus resolution. The study made a ideal VTE model in rat and find the level of VEGF in lung and thrombi are raised, suggest the it has a role in development of thrombi and compensation to organism .Objective :Study on the Variation and Role of Vascular endothelial growth factor associated with experimental Venous thromboembolism in Rat.Methods: 1.120 male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham group(n=48), DVT group(n=18) and DVT-PTE group(n=54). Experimental DVT was induced in 18 rats by block of blood in femoral vein with vascular clamp, then take out of thrombi and inject them into the other femoral veinein to make DVT-PTE model(54). An additional 48 rats underwent sham operations. Animals were sacrificed at 1,4,7 days afterVTE and PTE. Six animals were killed for each group at each time point. 2.Pressure of artery blood oxygen (PaO2) was detected. 3.Thrombus and... |
