ObjectiveLaparoscopic hysterectomy developed widely in clinic. During the operation, celiac pressure rose and diaphragm ascended because of carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum. In that case, thoracic pressure rose and then led to the change of hemodynamics. So tracheal intubation general anesthesia was adopted firstly. It was difficult to estimate the time of laparoscopic operation. So not only definite anesthesia depth but also fast consciousness recovery were required. Target controlled infusion system was a new intravenous anesthesia method by virtue of compter. It could adjust anesthesia depth according to target concentration to meet clinical requirement.
