Objective: To investigate the RA ,demonstrate the clinical effect of WTD by experimental method and study it's mechanism of action in RA.Methods: 40 adult Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups(stratifited according to their sex and weight ) as control group,model group,WTD group and TWH group.Measurd all the rats' feet thickness on the first day,eighth day,twenty-eighth day.The last three groups were injected CFA by the improved CFA RA model method.A week later,all the rats were respectively administered to WTD, TWH and physiological saline.Four weeks later,anesthetized all the rats,got blood from abdomen artery,extracted the serum and assay the content of NO and TNF α of all the serum and assay their content of NO and TNF α deal with all date by statistical analysis.Results: The content of NO and TNF α of all the serum were increased compared with that of control group.(p<0.01).WTD can lower the NO and TNF α in RA rats serum(p<0.05) and decrease feet thickness(p<0.05).Conclusion: WTD can probably decrease the level of NO and TNF α in rat's serum.The WTD has significance compared with the TWH group and is an optimal ant-RA prescription.
