| Objective: This study aims to observe the clinical effect of wenshenbuqi manipulation in treating senile lumbar vertebrae proliferatitis in comparison with common manipulation, to present a scientific standard of tuina performance for the treatment of senile lumbar vertebrae proliferatitis, so as to be widely used in clinical practice. Methods: 60 patients with senile lumbar vertebrae proliferatitis were strictly selected , 4 of whom failed to complete the period of treatment. The remain 56 patients were randomly divided into two groups, 30 in the treatment group and 26 in the control group, which were treated with wenshenbuqi manipulation and common manipulation respectively. Each patient received a 20 minutes treatment daily for 15 days. Data involving the changes of the clinical effectiveness, syndrome improvement, Immunoglobulins, and lumbar physiological curve of the two groups were analyzed and treated statistically. Results: Compared with the control group, the treatment group had a higher curative rate. There was no significant difference between the two groups in total effectiveness. Conclusions: Patients treated with wenshenbuqi manipulation has a higher curative rate than those with common manipulation. There is no significant difference in total effectiveness between the two groups. This study may contribute to a standard of tuina performance for the treatment of senile proliferative lumbar vertebrae , which can be widely used in clinical practice. |
