| Mechanical loading can promote bone-tissue growth and develop, sustain the integrity of structure and funtion of bone.Mechanical loading have been thought very important in the genesis and development of osteoporosis.Several studies have shown that exercise and increased activity lowers the risks of osteoporosis and helps maintain bone mineral density.Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disease characterized by low bone mass and microarchitectural deterioration of bone tissu,with a consequent increase in bone fragility and susceptibility to fracture.It may result from increased osteoclastic activity and decreased osteoblastic acyivity.Osteoblasts derivece from a common precursor in bone marrow,the mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs).The changes of activity of osteoblasts are concerned with the number and survival time of osteoblast,but the activity of its precusor is very important.Mesenchymal stem cells are thought to be multipotent cells,that have the potential to dfferentiate lineages of mesenchymal tissues including bone, cartilage,fat ,tendon ,musle, and marrow stroma.Some researcher found that bone loss resulting from osteoporosis are companied by fat tissue increase,but the mechanism is not clear.We also find that the activity of MSCs differentiate to osteoblast decreased and to adipocyte increased at osteoporotic model of rat.At present time, the research about bone cells and strain are concerned with osteoblast,about MSCs are little.Havn't seen report about mechanical stimulation on differentiation of MSCs to osteoblst.So we hypothesis that mechanical stimulation can precipitate MSCs differentiate to osteoblast and inhibite differentiate to adipocyte.
