OBJECTIVE: To study the pathogenesis of acute necrotizing pancreatitis (ANP) and treatment mechanism of Chai Qin Cheng Qi Decoction (CQCQD) on the disease through observe the changes of nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB) in pancreas and intestinal tract, and its' correlations to TNF-α and IL-6 after administrating CQCQD, somatostatin(SS) or combined the two things to ANP rats. Furthermore, to investigate the pathogenic score of pancreas and intestinal tract and the effect on serum amylase (AMY) and white blood cells. METHODS: Establishing rat's ANP model, 5 groups are involved which are the sham operation group, ANP group, CQCQD group, SS group and CQCQD combined SS group. Each group has 10 rats. Establish the rat's ANP modal with pumping 3.5% taurocholic acid solution in pancreatic duct. After 6 hours, exam venous blood from abdominal cavity, do pathologic section and HE staining with the tissue of pancreas and terminal ileum and observe the specimens under microscope, check TNF-α and IL-6 with the method of ELISA, use immunohistochemical method to observe the activity of NF-κB in pancreas and intestinal.RESULTS: Compare to the SO group, ANP group have significant higher WBC (P<0.05) and higher AMY, LDH (P<0.01), Compare to ANP group,...
