| Leptospirosis is a zoonotic bacterial disease caused by Leptospira interrogans. At present, vaccine is first choice to prevent Leptospirosis, but existing vaccine is restricted, because it only produce short period and incomplete protection. So it is urgent and important for us to study the novel vaccine for the control of leptospitasis.OmpA is a class of proteins highly conserved among the Enterobacteriaceae family and throughout evolution. OmpA is composed of three functional domains including a hydrophilic extracellular mass, a β-barrel reansmembrane structure, and apeptidoglycan binding domain. Moreover, OmpA appears as a new type of pathogen-associated molecular pattern(PAMP) usable as a vector in anti-infectious to elicit CTLs. In this study, we chosed a novel membrane protein Loa22 with a C-terminal OmpA domain from the Leptospira lai.First, Loa22 Gene was amplified by PCR from genome of Leptospira lai 017 strain, 56601 strain and Patoc â… , and was subcloned into vector pGEX-4T-1. DNA sequence was performed subsequently. Later, the structure... |
