【Objective】To evaluate the differential diagnosis utility of uterine leiomyosarcoma and the specific subtypes of leiomyoma by detecting the expression of Bcl-2 protein, C-myc protein and Ki-67 in the specific subtypes of leiomyoma and analyzing its DNA content and cell cycle phase.【Methods】The immunohistochemical method was used to examine the expression of Bcl-2 protein, C-myc protein and Ki-67 in 50 cases of specific subtypes of leiomyoma, among which, the cellular DNA content and cell cycle phase were analyzed by flow cytometry. 10 cases of ordinary leiomyoma and 10 cases of leiomyosarcoma were studied as comparison .【Results】The immunohistochemical results: The expression rate of Bcl-2 protein in the specific subtypes of leiomyoma was lower than ordinary leiomyoma and higher than leiomyosarcoma, it was between the expression rate of the two uterine smooth muscle tumors, but the difference was no statistical significance(P>0.05). The expression rate of C-myc protein in the specific subtypes of leiomyoma was higher than ordinary leiomyoma, but the difference was no statistical significance(P>0.0125). The expression rate of C-myc protein in the specific subtypes of leiomyoma was lower than leiomyosarcoma, and the difference was significan(tP<0.0125). The expression rate of C-myc protein presented increasing tend from benign to malignant uterine smooth muscle tumors. The Ki-67 labeling index was no significant difference between the specific subtypes of leiomyoma and ordinary leiomyoma, but it was significantly different between the specific subtypes of leiomyoma and leiomyosarcoma. There was no correlation among Bcl-2 protein, C-myc protein, and Ki-67 labeling index in uterine smooth muscle tumors(P>0.05).The result of flow cytometry: The aneuploidy rate in the specific subtypes of leiomyoma was no statistical significance comparing with ordinary comparing detector(P>0.05).The aneuploidy rate in the specific subtypes of leiomyoma was significantly lower than leiomyosarcoma, and the difference has statistical significance(P﹤0.0125).The SPF and PI in the specific subtypes of leiomyoma were little higher than ordinary leiomyoma, but the difference was no statistical significance(P>0.05). The SPF and PI in the specific subtypes of leiomyoma were lower than leiomyosarcoma, and it has statistical significance(P﹤0.05).【Conclusions】Bcl-2 protein has limited significance in differential diagnosis of uterine...
