| Objective: We researched the protective effects and its mechanisms of Potentilla anserina L. alcohol extract on cultured myocardial cells of neonatal rats in hypoxia injury and on cardiac muscles injury of chronic hypoxia mice.Methods: Study on cultured cells: (1) We use primary cultured SD neonatal rat (1-3d) cardiac myocytes to explore. We ascertained the best time of hypoxia through MTT method and then established the model of hypoxia. (2) The cultured cardiocytes with growth in good condition were divided randomly into control group hypoxia injury model group and intervention group of Potentilla anserina L. alcohol extract(0.024g/ml, 0.012g/ml, 0.006g/ml). After hypoxia for 6h, Lactate dehdrogenase (LDH) and creatine kinase (CK) release, activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and productions of malondialdehyde (MDA) in cells were measured in each group for investigating the effects of Potentilla anserina L. alcohol extract on the cultured cardiocytes injured by hypoxia.
