The Clinical Study On Fibromyalgia Syndrome With The Acupuncture Of Stimulating Du Channel And Smoothing Other Channels And Collaterals

Objective: This trival was designed to explore the efficacy of acupuncture about stimulating Du channel and smoothing other channels and collaterals as well as antidepressant treatment for fibromyalgia syndrome by random and contrast study. In this way we expect can provide a more efficient ,more security method for FS's treatment.Method:The patients who meet 1990 designed standard of ACR were been selected. They were divided into three groups on the basis of principles of randomized controlled trial. The study group was treated with acupuncture about stimulating Du channel and smoothing other channels and collaterals as well as antidepressant ,westen medicine group by oral amitriptyline and routin acupuncture group .Observing the number of pressure pain point and the VAS pain index and Athens Insomnia Scale to measure the patient's condition changes.Result: In clical curative effect, Statistics shows that the study group has better effect in treatment of fibromyalgia syndrome than westen medicine group and routin acupuncture group (P < 0.05) . The VAS pain index and the number of pressure pain point and Athens in three groups with statistical treatment,had significantly improved than those before the treatment (P<0.05) . The study group has better effect than westen medicine group and routin acupuncture group (P<0.05) .Conclusion: Acupuncture about stimulating Du channel and smoothing other channels and collaterals has effective in treating fibromyalgia syndrome and can obviously improve patient's pain and sleep quality .
