The misuse of pharmaceuticals make it possible for bacteria to adapt and become resistant, and they have become new typical environmental pollutants which are dangerous to human health and environment. Therefore, more attention should be paid for the rapid and efficient analysis and control of pharmaceuticals. Capillary electrophoresis (CE) has evolved into a powerful technique for biomedical and pharmaceutical analysis, especially for the determination of the complicated samples. There are two main points in the thesis. One point is the separation of several antibiotics by micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography (MECC). The other point is the on-line concentration techniques of capillary electrophoresis in biomacromolecules.The principle, separation methods, detection methods, on-line concentration techniques of capillary electrophoresis and application of capillary electrophoresis in biomedical and pharmaceutical analysis were introduced. Surfactants were also described in detail about its important use in CE. We employ surfactants as the main clue in the thesis.(1) Separation and determination of antibiotics by micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatographic.
