Objective: Many a animal experiment that are regarded as the less cost, easier domination and model-formation manner of the convenient reproduction, are required for the fundamental researches which are related to the occurrence forms as well as the tissue repairs of traffic injury and secondary injury. The traffic injury that is involved the factors of complication of the accidental pattern, wounded position, posture and state, might incur various types and severity of the injury to manifold injury degrees. Consequently, the injury equipment could be the premise and basis of the further related researches. The process of the study is the preparation of a traffic injury platform with controllable parameters available for small animals so as to simulate the entire course of traffic accidents with dynamic and whole impact modeling instead of the static and regional impact, for the aim of the obtaining the mobile pathway of the organ injury process according to the technology of mobile diagram analyses and 3-D ultra-red rays analyses system. Based on which, a biological experiment that is carried out in rabbits for the discussion of the mechanism and characteristics of the traffic injury caused by obverse, lateral and rear collisions of the car, could be the realization of the method and equipment of the traffic injury analysis. Methods:First part: Miniature power sled, animal fixation sled, hydraulic shock absorber and onboard minitype data-collection system were developed by using the platform of orbital biological impact laboratory. The optimized and assembled present test equipments with new test techniques and methods were employed to establish injury platform for traffic injury in small animals. Second part: Based on the above mentioned injury platform, obverse, lateral and rear car collision experiments at various primary collision speed were done to study traffic injury characteristics in aspects of praxiological observation, gross dissection and trauma scale. In the meantime, the spacial motion trace of thoracoabdominal parts and four extremities of the rabbits during obverse collision was specially analyzed by using motion image analysis technique.
