Since Harvey William discovered the blood circulation in 1616, the plasma substitute has been the pursuit objective for scientists, doctors and pharmacologists. Today, Along with the further recognition for pathogenesis of related diseases, the research on volume therapy and core medicine -plasma substitute turned out many new progression. Hydroxyethyl Starxh 130/0.4—Voluven produced by Fresenius Kabi company is a neotype middle molecule hydroxyethyl starch prepn and an optima narrow molecular weight. Although Voluven has been utilized in the clinical hemudilution, it is still less reported on the therapeutic effect and influence on extravascular lung water.
