Objectives: To assay variations of complement concentration, anti-acetylcholine-receptor(Anti-AchR) antibody titer and jitter value in myasthenia gravis(MG) prior and post-treatment with glucocorticoids and analysis the reflections of the change of MG severity on these variations, as anti-AchR antibody and complement are important initiators in initiation of MG, jitter value is an sensitive parameter in the evaluation of neuropathies and myopathies.Patients and methods: MG patients were treated with glucocorticoids and cholinesterase inhibitor. Each MG patient was scored by Quantitative MG Score for disease severity and concentration of complement, anti-AchR antibody titer was detected and jitter value was measured prior and post-treatment. The reflections of the change of MG severity on complement concentration, anti-acetylcholine-receptor antibody titer and jitter value were analysed.
