BACKGROUND: Studies showed that the hingh levels of serum insulin and plasma inflammatory makers were the important factors in the development of the coronary heart disease. Hyperinsulinmia is one of the main characteristics of insulin resistance. Insulin resistance means that biological effect produced by certain concentration of insulin is lower than the normal level. That is to say, the function of insulin is impaired in the aspect of intaking and using the glucose. At the same moment, body secrets compensatorily even more insulin, leads to hyperinsulinmia. Besides produced the saccharometabolism disorder, insulin resistance effects metabolism of the lipid and protein. Hyperinsulinmia can strengthen the above effects. In the process of atherosclerosis, the high concentration of inflammatory makers ,such as CRP, TNF-a, lead to injury of the endothelium of blood vessel ,promote the inflammatory reactionand and accelerated the atherosclerosis. Inflammatory makers have a close affinity to the hyperinsulinmia, fat, hypertension, hypertriglyceride, these are risk factors in atherosclerosis. Today, the relationship among the serum insulin, inflammatory makers and coronary artery narrow degree have seldom reported yet, especial the ingteraction of insulin resistance and inflammatory makers in the development of CHD is little reported. The research took coronary angiography as gold standard of CHD and measured the blood glucose, triglyceride, serum IS,plasma CRP,...
