| Objective:To investigate the changes of circulating leukocyte-platelet aggregations(PLA) in patients with cerebral infarction and explore the role of PLA in cerebral infarction;And to observe the effect of antiplatelet drugs and tongxinluo capsula on PLA in patients. Methods: The level of plasma soluble P-selectin(sP-sel), serum c-reaction protein(CRP), platelet aggregation rate(PAR) and circulating PLA were measured in patients with acute cerebral infarction patients and in controls. Furthermore 80 patients with cerebral infarction were divided into 4 groups: group A,20 cases, treated with aspirin;group B,20 cases,treated with aspirin and tongxinluo capsula;group C,20 cases,treated with clopidogrel;and group D,20 cases,treated with clopidogrel and tongxinluo capsula. The clinical symptom,plasma sP-sel, serum CRP,PAR and circulating PLA was observed before and after treatment.Results: There was no difference in the percentage of PLA, platelet-lymphocyte aggregation(PLyA) and platelet-neutrophil aggregation(PNA) between patients and controls; however, in the patients with cerebral infarction,the percentage of monocyte-platelet aggregation(PMA) was significantly increased copared with controls(P<0.01).The level of plasma sP-sel,serum CRP and PAR found in the case group were significantly greater than in the control group(P<0.01).The number of PMA was positively related with the plasma sP-sel, serum CRP and PAR in cerebral infarction patients before treatment(P<0.01), and it showed a significant inverse correlation beteen the percentage of PMA and the score of SNSS(P<0.01).After treatment, the levels of circulating PMA were decreasd in all groups of cerebral infarction patients(P<0.01).But the number of PMA was diffirent in 4 groups after treatmeant(P<0.05),the level of PMA in group A was higher than that in group C and D(P<0.01),it was no significant diffirence in group A and B,or group B,C and D. the PAR induced by adenosine diphosphate(ADP)...
