Objectives: To investigate the effects of EBR and ICS on urine oxalic acid and the effects of diet of oxalate on urine oxalic acid in EBR or ICS rat. Methods: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were used throughout the study. They Were named A (control group underwent sham operation, B(EBR group)and C (EBR group with interposition of colonic segment) after one week of feeding rats with ammonium Oxalate, The rats were sacrificed after 21 day, The indices of urine were observed and tested. The morphopathological changes were observed by light microscopy in kindey. Results: In 15 days after operation, the content of calcium oxalate of urine in group A is 21.51±3.09μmol/L. Those in group B is 58.63±18.33μmol/24h. Those in group C is 60.97±21.27μmol/24h. In 21 days after operation, those in group A is 52.01±3.86μmol/24h. Those in group B is 96.84±20.16μmol/24h. Those in group C is 85.55±24.23μmol/24h. There was a statistically significant difference between A and B or C in 15 days after operation(P<0.001). There was a significant difference between A and B in 21 days after operation(P<0.001). There was a difference between A and C in 21 days after operation(P<0.05). There was no either difference in...
