Objective To observe the influence of acute hypervolemic hemodilution(AHH) combined with controlled hypotension(CH) on the balance of oxygen providing and consumption in brain. Methods Twenty ASA Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ patients who were not undergoing heart surgery were randomly divided into two groups: AHH+ CH group (groupH,n=10) and control group(group C,n=10). Jugular venous and radial artery blood was synchronously obtained, blood gases was analyzed, and CEO2 and Da-jvO2 were calculated before AHH(T0), 10min(T1), 30min(T2)and 60min(T3)after AHH was performed. Results AHH can maintain hemodynamic stability during CH in all patients, CVP of group H increased, and they were still in normal range. There was no significant difference between group H and group C in HCT before AHH; HCT in group H decreased significantly in T1,T2and T3 compared with T0, in T1, compared with group C, SjvO2 increased especially in T33 and CEO2, Da-jvO22 decreased especially in T2 ,T33 in group H after AHH. SjvO2 in group H were higher those in group C especially in T1. Conclusion There were no influence of acute hypervolemic hemodilution combined with controlled hypotension on the balance of oxygen providing and consumption in brain.AHH can also improve oxygen comsumpation in brain during CH.
