The objectives of this study are to investigate the absorbtion, distribution, metabolism and excretion of ~3H-norcantharidin in mice by tritium tracing method, to compare the tissue distribution characteristics of ~3H-norcantharidin in normal mice and mice bearing tumor and the intake ratio of normal and tumor tissues, to ascertain the relationships of curative effect or toxicity and the concentration of drug, and the origin or possible metabolites of norcantharidin in mice serum; to establish the HPLC/MS/MS method for determine the concentration of norcantharidin in biotic samples, to compare the difference of concentration in rabbit serum and plasma and make certain the appropriate type of biotic sample for pharmacokinetical study; to investigate pharmacokinetic characteristics of norcantharidin tablets in human by serum and urine methods respectively and to estimate the advantage and disadvantage of urine excretion ratio method and deficiency method.1.
