BackgroundCoronary heart disease (CHD) is common and multi-onset disease, which have serious effects on the health of human beings, and their pathological basis is atherosclerosis(AS). Traditionary, the development of AS was thought to be a line procedure, during which lipid infiltrated into the intima of the main therapy strategy, However, recent studies show that plaque disruption and arterial thrombosis are recognized as critical to the onset of acute coronary syndrome(ACS) and a vulnerable that is prone to rupture is vital to induce ACS. Therefore, it is very significant to detect vulnerable plaques earlier and take effective interventions to prevent ACS.Recent studies show that atherosclerosis is a chronic inflammatory that is caused by multiple processes, including infiltration of inflammatory cells, proliferation of smooth muscle cells, increase in extra cellular matrix and thrombus formation. Now, the potential role of inflammation markers in plaque rupture in diagnosising acute coronary syndrome has become increasingly recognized, such as hs-CRP, ICAM-1, VCAM-1, IL-6, TNFα, MMPs. Recently, pregnancy associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A) may be recognized the markers of unstable plaques. Whether or not is the PAPP-A in predicting plaque inflammatory able to be one of the perfect risk factors. It is known that statin and other durgs are effective in stabilizing the vulnerable plaque, but beta-blockade, Calcium Channel Blockade and Chinese traditional medicine have not been administered to the vulnerable plaques model. So, the aim of...
