Objective â‘ To identify the expression of P16, P21, PCNA, Cyclin E in Seborrheic Keratosis. â‘¡To investigate the significance of the those four cell cycle regulators in pathogenesis of SK.Methods Paraffin imbedding tissue specimens kept in our department were used to be sliced for immunohistochemical staining. Counting those positive cells under light microscopy , to caculate the proportion of positive cells in all keratinocytes. Normal People's epidermis were tested as normal controls. Use statistic method toanalyze the results.Resultsâ‘ P16 expressed with the positive rate of 78% in all stratums of SK epidermis and 40% in normal stratum, which only exist in granulosum respectively .A statistical difference was found between the two groups (P<0.05); Sum of ranks test analyzing the expression intensity of the two simple indicates that it has the statistic significance (u=2.1918, P<0.05).â‘¡P21 expressed in all stratums of SK epidermis, positive rate is 68%, while 30% in normal stratum spinosum, and three cases are positive. A statistical difference was found between the groups (P < 0.05); Sum of ranks tests analyzing the expression intensity of the two simple shows the statistic significance (u=2.2116, P<0.05).
