Objective:To analysis hematological changes and inflammatory indexes in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis(RA) and explore the correlations between inflammatory indexes. Methods:A retrospective study, which includs 120 cases of clinical active RA patients who were hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University,is performed. In order to statistic the hematological changes in these patients and explore the correlations between the platelet(PLT),fibrinogen(Fib),serum Iron( SI ) and the inflammatory Indexes, including erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),c-reactive protein(CRP)and serum ferritin(SF).Results:The morbidity of anemia is 69.2% in these clinical active RA patients, especially anemia of chronic disease(ACD). Neutrophilic granulocytosis and monocytosisis are both obvious in these patients, the percent of Neutrophilic granulocytosis is 17.5% and monocytosisis is 22.5%. lymphopenia is less(-8.3%), neutrocytopenia is rare(-1.7%). The percent of thrombocytosis is 53.3% in all patients. There are different degree correlations between PLT, Fib , SI and ESR, CRP , SF. There were correlations between PLT levels and inflammatory indexes in these clinical active RA patients(for ESR, r=0.396,P<0.01; for CRP, rs=0.262,P<0.01; for SF, rs=-0.212,P>0.05; for Fib, r=0.235,P<0.05). There were correlations between Fib levels and inflammatory indexes (for ESR, r=0.245,P<0.05; for CRP, rs=0.319,P<0.01; for SF, rs=-0.010,P>0.05; for PLT, r=0.235,P<0.05).There were correlations between SI levels and inflammatory indexes(for ESR, r=-0.129,P>0.05; for CRP, rs=-0.304,P<0.01; for PLT, r=-0.228,P<0.05; for Fib, r=-0.334,P<0.05; for SF, rs=0.099,P>0.05).Conclusions:1 Anaemia is predominant in patients with active RA,especially ACD. There is...
