Using brain atlas label practice scans data, combine iconography and computer scene analysis, merge unit data into standard data. It supply maximum information about brain and improve the nicety about diagnose of brain disease for doctor, and made the treat programming. It was useful for treat the brain disease. Meanwhile, it was a challenge research problem. The important of label brain image is establishing TT coordinate system, and the midpoint of AC-PC line is the origin of TT coordinate system. This thesis mainly study the extraction of midsaggital plane(MSP) and location of anterior commissure(AC) and posterior commissure(PC) on MR data.At first, this thesis summarizes traditional method of edge detection of medicine image, analysis several edge characteristic, introduce several traditional method of edge detection. And analysis relative merits of method use practice case. Then, research the method of contour extraction and contour pursuit.The MSP halves the cerebrum into two cerebral hemispheres. Its identification is important for brain segmentation, registration, quantification, pathology detection, and particularly for the Talairach transformation. So, this thesis summarizes the method of localize the fissure line segments base on MR. The fissure line segments are localized by minimizing the local symmetry index, then, locates the midsagittal plane base on the angle and location of fissure line segments and rebuild MSP.In addition, this thesis studies the location of AC and PC on MSP. Firstly, establish histogram of MSP, and using intensity of brain structure on MSP, this thesis locates the corpus callosum, fornix, and brainstem on MSP by iterative binarization of MSP. Then, this thesis locates AC and PC by analyzing their relationships with the corpus callosum, fornix, and brainstem which supply by brain atlas. |
