| BACKGROUND:The esophagus cancer is one of common malignant tumors in China. It can not be diagnosed in early time .SO when the symptoms appear,most of the cancer cells have been diffused and metastasesed. The patients lost the chance of operation and local radiation. In this time the chemistry treatment is an important method for the patiens. Data suggested that preoperative adjuvant chemotherapy contributed to the length and quality of life more and more.Cisplatin (DDP) is one type of wide-species anti-tumor drugs.It have been proved effective, as the main drug for malignant tumors, especially for the esophagus cancer.Traditionally, DDP was deemed to a DNA injury substance in the treatment. Recently in the experiment about DDP' s auris toxicity, someone found that it could enhance generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS) in vivo and ROS induced the apoptosis of OC-k3 immortalized cell line . ROS plays a vital role in cells apoptosis because it is one of the signaling molecules in body. ROS are oxygen metabolites and important signaling molecule in vivo. They play a vital role in the cells apoptosis. It have become a current hot spot in science. There is a neodoxy that the cell apoptosis is through induction of a mitochondria redox-dependent mechanism.
