Experimental Study Of Effect On Hepatic Tissue Collagen Of Type â… ,â…¢ And â…£ Of Curcumin On Hepatic Fibrosis Tissues In Rats

Objective: To observe the effect of Curcumin on hepatic tissue Collagen of type Ⅰ , Ⅲ and Ⅳ of hepatic fibrosis tissues in rats and to discuss the mechanism and curative of Curcumin in the treatment of hepatic fibrosis.Methods: Models of hepatic fibrosis were established by hypodermic injection of tetrachloride and by giving 25% ethyl to rats orally.96 rats were divided into 7 groups: normal control group, model group ,small dose group , middel dose group, large dose of Curcumin group, γ-interfom group, fufangbiejiaruangan tablet group, except for normal control group and model group,the other groups were given drugs as following: Curcumin of 10mg, 20mg, 40mg per 100 gram weight rat , γ-interfom 0.2mu per 100 gram weight, fufangbiejiaruangan tablet 0.625 gram per 100 gram weight.After 20 weeks,all the rats were executed and the blood were kept for detecting HA, LN, PC-Ⅲ,ⅣC.Left livers were extirpated for pathologic examination including HE, Van-Gieson and Gomori stains.The content of hepatic tissue Collagen of type Ⅰ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ were detected by immunohistochemical technique.Result: Serum levels of HA, LN, PC-Ⅲ, ⅣC hepatic tissue Collagen of type Ⅰ , Ⅲ and Ⅳ of fibrotic group increased significantly compared with normal group,which were depressed obviously in large and middle dose Curcumin groups(P<0.05) . HA, LN were depressed obviously in small Curcumin group (P<0.05) . Staining of HE, Van-Gieson and Gomori showed the degree of hepatic fibrosis in large and middle dose Curcumin groups was improved obviously in modle group. The content of hepatic tissue Collagen of type Ⅰ, Ⅲand Ⅳ were depressed by large and middle dose Curcumin groups ( P<0.05) .
