| Objects To observe the distribution, diversify and influential factors of congenital malformations in order to provide clinical evidence for prevention, separation, diagnosis and therapy of congenital malformations.Methods A retrospective review of 14156 hospitalized children with congenital malformation diagnosed by international index and classified according to International Disease Code (ICD9) in our hospital from 1994 to 2005 was analyzed. All statistical analyses were performed with the use of SPSS 13.0.Results Among the 14156 cases, 13863 (97.9%) were simple congenital malformations. Most children were suffered from congenital malformations of urinary and genital system, and cryptorchidism were the most in it. The congenital malformations incidence of urinary and genital system was in the first place, especially the cryptorchidism. There were 10 most common kinds of CM , including congenital heart disease, cryptorchidism, congenital torticollis, congenital cleft palate, congenital cleft lip, hypospadia, atresia stenosis of anus and rectum, congenital dislocation of the hip, congenital megacolon and congenital clubfoot in turn.
