[ Objective ] To ravel the infectivity of Trichinella spiralis (Yunnan isolate); TO explorethe affection on female reproductive caused by male; To explain the infection mechanism by morphology study.[ Methods ] 138 male Kunming mices were randomly divided into five groups( A, B,C, D1-7 E1-6): group A, B, C were infected with mature muscle larvae, to acquire different days old larvae and adults, group A were dissected at different days post infection(PI); To calculate adult worms' sexual ratio, group B were dissected at 5d PI; Group C as control. Group D1-7 were infected with different days old larvae, Group E1-5were infected with different days old adults; Group E6 were infected with 5-day-old female, group C,D,E were dissected at 30d PI, RCI need to be calculated. Different days old adults and larvae were fixed, their structure were observed by microscopy and electron microscopy.[ Results] Trichinella spiralis (Yunnan isolate) 12-day-old larvae begin to infect hoststhough oral; RCI of 12, 13 , 14, 19 days old larvae and mature muscle larvae were 49.64+4.02, 93.61 ±4.06, 124.34 + 4.72, 153.19 ± 6.20 and 157.77 ± 3.50; RCI of 5,10 and 20 days old adult were 154.90 ± 2.62, 20.34 ± 4.53 and 18 ± 0.21; RCI of 5-day-old female was 13.77±0.68; The larvae less than 11-day-old and the adults more than 25-day-old can not infect hosts; Sexual ratio (female : male) of 5 days old adults was 2.27:1. Observed by microscopy, 5 days old female has densely arranged larvae and eggs in the uterus, seminal receptacle and ovary are normal; 15 days old female had a few larvae and eggs in the uterus, seminal receptacle atrophy; 25 days old female had not larvae or eggs, seminal receptacle and ovary disaggregation. Observed by electron microscopy, compare with adult worm, larvae's surface is smoother, head is simpler; varied with the larva's or adult's days old, the body wall and the granules of cytostichosome are quite different in morphology; in esophagus, amorphous substance was observed in larva,...
