Objective Using the advantage of 16-slice spiral CT with more higherspace differentiation and more highertime differentiation to evaluate the tapies of plaques by detecting CT value of plaques. 1, To detect the risk rate of coronary disease; 2 , To detect different kinds of plaques leading to the degree of the stenosis of coronary artery. Methods Thirty-five patients with coronary heart disease were divided into two groups by the risk rate of coronary heart disease: group 1 was diagnosticated with ACS (acute myocardial infarction, AMI; unstable angina, UA); group2 was diagnosticated with stable angina(SA). These cases were studied by 16-slice spiral CT (retrospectively ECG-gating , 0.5s ratation) , these CT images were reconstructed by severy methods to analyze and to display coronary artery atherosclerosis plaques, evaluating the nature of plaques by detecting CT value of plaque ( using the standard of the CT value of the coronary artery atherosclerosis plaque of Schroeder); Analyzing the degree of the stenosis of coronary artery caused by the different type of plaque.
