| ObjectiveTo investigate the change regulation on the level of serum advanced glycation end products(AGEs) in women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM), and the effect of these changes on their fetal outcome.MethodsUsing 2-hour75g capillary whole blood glucose measured-OGTT for GDM screening and 2-hour 75g venous plasma glucose measurcd-OGTT for GDM dignosis. According to the select requirement 60 second trimester pregnant women with GDM and third trimester pregnant women with GDM were recruited, in which there were 45 cases whose both pregnant examinations and deliveries were in our hospital. At the same time 72 cases with normal second trimester pregnancy and 80 cases with normal third trimester pregnancy were selected, in which there were 62 cases whose both pregnant examinations and deliveries were in our hospital. We measured and compared such parameters as blood glucose, serum AGEs, SCr, HbAlc in second trimester and third trimester pregnancy, analyzing the relevance between them. We collected the clinical data of these mother with GDM and their baby , and explore the risk factor which cause their baby adverse prognosis using Logistic regression.Results1. The incidence of cesarean , macrosomia , hypoglycemia , fetus asphyxia malformation was higher in the women with GDM than in normal pregnant women, P<0.05.2. Multiple stepwise linear regression analysis showed that a positive correlationbetween serum AGEs levels and HbA1c levels were found in these women with GDM,p<0.001. |
