Objective To investigate and discuss the expression and clinical significance of WT1 and PRAME in patients with acute leukemia(AL). Methods The levels of WT1 and PRAME were measured by semiquantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) method in 54 AL patients which concluded 31 ANLL patients, 13 ALL patients and 10 CR patients and 10 normal-control subjects. Then analysis the relationship of the levels of WT1 and PRAME and the respone to treatment, patients' sex, age, peripheral blood cells, blast cells of bone marrow and karyotype. Result1.The positive rate of WT1 with AL patients was 47. 7%(21/44), and the positive rate of PRAME was 40. 9%(18/44). The positive rates of WT1 and PRAME of AL group newly diagnosed were higher than those of CR group and normal-control subjects P<0. 01, but the differences of the positive rates of WT1 and PRAME between ANLL group and ALL group were not significant P>0. 05.2. Among 42 AL patients newly diagnosed, the positive rates of WT1 and PRAME of ineffective group were higher than those of effective group P<0. 05. Among 21 AL patients with WT1~+, the levels of WT1 of ineffective group were 1.3511+0.2727, those of effective group were 0.9600 ± 0. 1562, the differences of two groups were significant P<0. 01. Among 18 AL patients with PRAME~+, the levels of PRAME of ineffective group were 1. 3558 + 0. 2531, those of effective group were 0. 9726 + 0.1587, and the differences of two groups were significant P<0. 01. 3.The effective rates of above the median group of WT1 and PRAME were...
