Epidemic Analysis And Control Strategy Of Measles In ChangChun

Measles is an acute all-body eruption's respirational disease caused by measles virus, and it is accorded by second infection in infectious law of our country. According to estimation of WHO, before using measles vaccine , there were 1.3 billion people infected measles, and there were 700 to 800 ten thousand people dead. But with occurring of measles vaccine , the occurring and death's rate were obvious decreased. At present, there are about 4000 ten thousand measles cases all of the world, among them about 100 ten thousand cases are child. In 15^th meeting of WHO in Jun , 2005, some experts called on dispelling measles , and occurring rate must control under 1/100 ten thousand. So we must quicken steps of controlling and dispelling measles of our country.In this article, we analysised the data from measles monitor and laboratory, in Changchun city, from Oct 2005 to Jun 2006. We can describe the measles epidemic characteristic, and analysis the main factor which affected the measles epidemic situation, and evaluate the effect of prevent and control measure, so we can acquire more experience in the work. As a result, the measles acceding obviously since Oct 2005 and descending in May 2006, and descend to the same level compared with last few year in Jun, 2006. there were 2198 cases from oct , 2005 to may, 2006, occurring rate was 30.41/10 ten thousand, and accounting for 44.54% of all province . The peak time is Feb, 2006 to Apr, 2006, and cases throw over Changchun city, and then concentrate in Dehui and Jiutai city, Most of effected people is living scattered children and the age is less than 2 and more than 15. The occurring rate of peasant and cure and nurse is obvious higher than the rate of last few years. 21 pestilences and 111 measles cases were reported.. And the cases is mainly distributed over rural area and school. The measles pestilence harmed the people's health deeply.
