Study On Antimutagenesis Of Aqueous Extract Of Semen Astragali Complanati

In the progress of research on antimutagenesis of Chinese herbal medicine,the main study both internal and abroad is concentrated on screening of antimutagen, but definite reports on mechanisms involved in antimutagenesis of Chinese herbal medicine are hardly seen. Many pharmacological actions have been reported about semen astragali complanati (AC),but the report of antimutagenesis is scarce. This research is about the antimutagenesis and mechanism of semen astragali complanati. Taking CP as mutagen and Vc as control of antimutagen, we carried out a series of experiments on aqueous extract of semen astragali complanati, including lymphocyte proliferation, bone-marrow PCE micronucleus, activity of MDA and SOD in serum and the detection of NKc. The research offers the theory on developing the new way for the Chinese herbal medicine and it is valuable for the practice. The results as follow.
