| Objective To study the risk factors for early complications after pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD)。Method There were 228 patients undergoing PD at our hospital between December 1999 and November 2006. There were 141 males and 87 females. The median age was 62 years old. All the patients were divided into complication group and non-complication group according to their outcomes. By the way, cases were divided into serious group if the patient have bad outcome such as died, reoperation and MODS. Their clinical feature, tab data and surgical factors were analyzed.Result There were 69 patients who have early complications and 26 peoplewas divided into serious group. The groups had the significant differences in total bilirubin, albumin, HDL and bleeding in operation. Logistic regression showed that the level of total bilirubin and blood sugar are the independent risk factors. Conclusions PD was a complicated and dangerous operation. The outcomes were not only decided by the surgeon's skill but also some things out of the operation. To control the risk factors will be helpful in the patient's treatment. |
