A new field of reproduction technique—in vitro maturation(IVM) is the research focus in the recent few years because of its wide foreground in clinic and basic scientific research.There are several records about the successful normal embryos and offspring borned by IVM-IVF-ET.But the potential of oocytes maturated by IVM is worse than by in vivo .It is mainly because we know little about the mechanism or influence factor of Primats's oocytes and the existing qualification of IVM is not appropriate enough.And so,it is much important to research into the mechanism and influence factor of IVM ,make certain the culture condition of IVM culture systerm and set up the progress of IVM, IVF and IVC.This article is a summarization about the mechanism and influence factor of IVM and the latest research achievement about IVM ,in order to supply the theory foundation for further research.
