Object : To investigate the function of peritoneum and liver in severe acute pancreatitis-associated lung injuryMethods: Sixty Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups(n=15 ineach group): Control group received only puncture of pancreatic duct, SAP group were induced by the injection of sodium taurocholate via retrocatheteris of common bile duct, Peritoneal lavage group recived continue peritoneal lavage after SAP, pancreatic tissue and dropsy inject into normal rats as the Peritoneal injection Group. Five rats were killed in each group after 3,6,12 hours. The lung tissue and liver tissue were got to detect the NF-κB mRNA,TNF-a,IL-1B and MPO esprssion levels .Results: SAP model was successfully induced in Wistar rats.Comparedwith SAP group and peritoneal injection groups, the peritoneal lavage Group resulted in significant decrease the severity of lung injury .Conclusion: Peritoneum may play an important role in the early stage ofSevere Acute Pancreatitis -associated lung injury .To block up inflammatory factors absprpotion via peritoneal in early stage relieves the lung injury'degree associated with Severe Acute Pancreatitis. The liver protects the lung avoid injury from SAP in the early stage.
