Experimental Study On Effects Caused By Panax General Saponin On Rats' Cardiac Muscle Damaged By Endotoxin

BACKGROUNDS: It was said by Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) that bloodstasis wouldn't appear until wenbing developed to the ying or xue period. However bothclinical observations and experimental studies of animals indicated that blood stasis existed inevery stages of wenbing. Therefore it would be helpful for us to understand the essence ofwenbing and amplify the serviceable range of dissipating blood stasis in wenbing.OBJECTIVE: In order to provide theoretical foundation to the view that blood stasisexist in each stages of wenbing,the paper collected a lot of old and new, domestic and foreigndata and information. And reveal the mechanism of action of Panax general saponinprotecting cardiac muscle damaged by endotoxin via experimental study. At the same timethe experimental study demonstrated the existence of blood stasis in wei period and the effectof dissipating blood stasis drug using in this period.METHODS: Collecting a lot of old and new, domestic and foreign data andinformation and synthesized various theories to reach the essence of every stages blood stasisof wenbing. In the experimental study section, the rats were divided into four groups,including the normal control, the model, the TCM and the western medicine.Then dividedeach group into two small ones by the difference of injecting time. Detect CK-MB, CTnI,TNF-αand IL-18 in the blood of eary rat in each group.RESULT: Considering with the level of CK-MB, CTnI, TNF-αand IL-18 in blood,thethe model, the western medicine,and the TCM-1 all evidently raise, and the TCM-2 didn'trise high, which were apparently different from the TCM-1.CONCLUSION: Blood stasis exists in every stages of wenbing,though degree of thestages'are different. Probablely dissipating blood stasis using in each stage of wenbing is a effective clinical method. The use of Panax general saponin in the inchoate period,wouldprevent cardiac muscle from being damaged by endotoxin.
