Study On The Relationship Of Gential Tract Infection And The Activity Of Acrosomal Enzyme

Mail sterility is not an independent disease, but a multifactor disease. Gential tract infection is one of the most important factors of male sterility. Gential tract infection can influence function of sperm in many direction: decrease the number of sperms, incurring paramorphia of sperms, decrease the motor function of sperms, kill the sperms, influence the activity of the enzyme, inhibit the dispersion of the corona radiate, influence the combination of sperm and ovum, obstruct the transportation of the sperm, damage the organs of generation directly or indirectly, induce the production of antisperm antibody, influence the activity of the sperm, et al. acrosomal enzyme as the key enzyme of the fertilization, for the dissolve function when the sperm penetrating the membranes striated of the ovotid, the level of the acrosomal enzyme can influence the conception. Detection of the activity of acrosomal enzyme come to be the popular method to detect the function of the sperm, is one of the most factor of quality of the sperm. Our study detected the sperm activity of acrosomal enzyme by an improved Kennedy method, using peroxidase stain of the ejaculate leucocyte to judge the infection of gential tract. After proper treatment, to detect the he sperm activity of acrosomal enzyme again to study the influence of infection of gential tract to male sterility.30 patients of male sterility with infection of gential tract and 30 without infection of gential tract were chosen randomized. They were sterility with normal sexual life more than 2 years and no surgical trauma or genetic disease, no history of sexual disturbance, no abnormal health examination of testiculus, epididymis and deferens, no abnormal Gynecologic examination of spouse. The controlled group were healthy male with child. Using the improved Kennedy method to detect the sperm activity of acrosomal enzyme. Spermoculture and susceptibility test were administrated to the patients with gential tract, treatment was given in the sensitive medicine, after the leucocyte of ejaculate lowing to 1×10~6/ml, the sperm activity of acrosomal enzyme was detected again.Our results show that the activity of acrosomal enzyme of the infection group was 28.6010±4.6804μIU/10~6, while the noinfection group was 57.3115±8.9838μIU/10~6, the group of the controlled was 122.9290±8.9721μIU/10~6, respectively. The comparison result was significantly difference (P＜0.05). The activity of acrosomal enzyme of infection group was 28.6010±4.6804μIU/10~6 before treatment while the result was 66.4645±6.8513μIU/10~6 after treatment, the comparison result was significantly difference (P＜0.05).This study indicate that the lower of the activity of acrosomal enzyme was one of the most important factors of male sterility. The infection of gential tract was one of factor of lowing the activity of acrosomal enzyme. So, positive examination should perform to the patients with infection of gential tract, including causative organism culture, drug sensitivity test, examination of the spouse, et al. Effective medicine should given in earlier period. Positive precaution and treatment of infection of gential tract woule be the effective method for elevate the activity of acrosomal enzyme, would be the important instrument of sterility and aristogenesis.
