Wireless endoscope is capable of eliminating the limitations of conventional GI endoscope. Subminiature camera capsule could be swallowed into the intestine to take photographs of specific and non-specific locations of the gullet, stomach, large and small intestines. This is a great advantage. It is better than traditional endoscopes that can only examine the upper and lower GI tracts. This examining method is noninvasive and painless, which is in line with recent trends towards noninvasive and minimally invasive therapy. There are some progress of typical capsule-style micro-systems,such as wireless endoscope,site specific delivery capsule(SSDC),alimentary tract sampling capsule,pH capsule. People can take better therapy with this lenitive technique. However, it is very difficult to solve the practicability of wireless endoscope, because of its power and image quality. Due to these factors, this study aims to reduce power and improve efficiency by adjusting frame format, compressing ratio, etc. And the bi-directional and multi-channel miniaturized telemetry module for wireless endoscope was developed to improve the practicability. The whole system has three parts, endoscope, portable device and image workstation. This paper discuses the research on the image workstation. The image workstation has three parts: real-time communication, image denoising and managing of the information. In the part of real-time communication, frame format of decoder, compressing ratio, transmitting speed and sleeping model are controlled by changing some parameters according to our need in different situations. The computer communicates with the portable device and endoscope by USB. This paper describes a communication protocol between computer, protable device and endoscope, and describes the data format in the transmission. In the transmission, images have to be polluted by noise. This paper simulate the RGB image that mixed Gaussian and Salt & Pepper noise as the image comes form endoscopy. In order to have the clear images, this papper has some experiments to denoise. At last, it describes a new method for denoising of the RGB image that coms form endoscope. The new method uses wavelet transform then median filtering. This method has the advantages of wavelet transform and median filtering. The method can improve the image quality and has better visual results. Its effect is better than pure wavelet transform or pure median filtering. It is an ideal denoising algorighm for RGB images including mixed Gaussian and Salt &Pepper noise. The part of managing of the information contains three modules, and it uses SQL Server as back database and ADO as the technique accessing database. These modules contain the basic message module, the imformation of images module and the imformation of case history module. It has the faction of accessing and inquiring all the imformation. The study has demonstrated a unique and better approach to minish the dimension of endoscope. It also represents a significant advancement in intestine therapy. A successful attempt has been made to acquire better data with the aid of this system. The system has several important applications in medicine, and perhaps the most significant one is the sleeping model, which can be control as your wish, the energy was saved and capsule-style micro-systems also can be used widely in biomedicine engineering with it.
