A study of the relation between diagnostic CT imaging and pathological types of Renal Cell CarcinomaRenal Cell Carcinoma, RCC come from epithelial cell of renal tubule and collecting tube. Acting as the commonest and primarily malignant tumor in urinary system, it is 75~85% of the kiney malignant tumor, and the fifth frequently clinical malignant tumor. Now radical nephrectomy is the gold standard to surgical therapy of RCC. To identify RCC subtypes before operation, will be helpful to predict prognosis and decide mode and range of treatment, and will be graveness significance to increase the living time and quality of life for patients. The advantage of CT in exploring RCC is obvious, especially recent years application of MSCT act as influential role in level diagnosis, qualitational diagnosis and clinical stage of RCC, and in progressing many experimental study in antidiastole histopathologic subtypes of RCC. In this study, we have retrospective analysed 50 cases RCC(clear-cell carcinoma 41 cases and Granular cell carcinoma 9 cases) which completed CT imaging data and proved by surgery pathology. The main purpose is to observe the CT feature of subtype of RCC for discussing the diagnostic and antidiastole value of MSCT in histopathologic hypotype of RCC, and to provide more accurate and more detailed data for the choice of clinical therapeutic measure and operational programe. The results of the present study showed that:1. 50 cases of RCC (CCE: clear-cell carcinoma 41 cases and granular cell carcinoma 9 cases), the preoperative detect rate, qualitation diagnostic rate and accurate staging rate of CT detection was 100%, 90.0% and 78.0% respectively.2. The CT manifestations, such as tuberiform, size, density, enhancement pattern etc, have no relation with the histopathologic subtypes of RCC. The contrast of two groups have no statistically significant(p>0.05).3. Tumor had significant enhanced at CMP. CTN equally enhanced exceed 50Hu, and decreased during NP. The contrasts of CTN at different scan phases have statistically significant(p<0.05).4. During CMP, the CTN of clear cell carcinoma is obviously higher than granular cell carcinoma, the contrast has statistically significant (p<0.05) But the contrasts of plain scan,NP and EP have no statistically significant (p>0.05 )These results indicat that:1) Plain scan and enhancement scanning have significant clinical value for diagnosing and staging of RCC.2) There are relations between CT manifestations with plain scan and tri-phase enhanced contrast study and histopathologic subtypes of RCC.3) During the tri-phase, the dyeing tumor bed of clear-cell carcinoma has significant density differences. In the differential diagnosis of RCC subtypes, the feature of RCC that tumor enhanced during CMP has highly value to clear-cell carcinoma and granular cell carcinoma.
