Objective: To study relationship between the tumour invasion and size with lymph node metastasis in early gastric carcinoma(EGC).Methods: Collected the 84 cases of EGC with surgery from 1988 to 2006, and the clinicopathological data were analyzed retrospectively. Results: The diagnostic rate of EGC was increased from 5.3ï¼…to 12.5ï¼…between 1990~1995 and 2005-6, the peak age of incidence was in 50~59 years old group. The ratio of male and female was 2: 1; the focus of the EGC was more in the gastric antrum and pylorus, and most of them was typeâ…¡. The most pathological type was well-differentiated adenocarcinoma, and followed poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma. The ratio of lymph node metastasis(LNM) in submucosal(sm) cancer was 25ï¼…(13/49) and mucosal cancer was no LNM. Among in submucosal(sm) cancer, the sml, sm2 and sm3 were 10ï¼…, 38ï¼…and 33ï¼…, respectively. The ratio of LNM was more in the diameter of tumor large than 2cm(20ï¼…)than the less than 2 cm, and in the typeâ…¡was more than in the typeâ… and typeâ…¢.Conclusion: 1. The LNM in EGC was correlated with depth infiltration, and the ratio of lymph node metastasis(LNM) in submucosal(sm) cancer was more than mucosal cancer. 2. The LNM in EGC was correlated with tumoe size, and in large than 2cm of tumor diameter was more than less than 2 cm. 3. The focus of the EGC was more in the gastric antrum and pylorus. The well-differentiated adenocarcinoma was more than other histological types, but the ratio of LNM was more in poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma than well-differentiated adenocarcinoma. |
