The doctrine of the correlation of five viscera is a Traditional Chinese Medcine (TCM) clinical theory, put forward by Professor Deng Tietao according to long time clinical practice. This theory bases on TCM clinical practice and has a foothold on keeping special feature of TCM to reform the "Wu Xing" doctrine. With knowing enough and using actively the reasonable contents of TCM "Wu Xing" doctrine, the doctrine of the correlation of five viscera carries out Wu Xing to five viscera and thinks highly of the interacton of five viscera. At the same time, it refrains from the reflection of mechanism and circulation and will promote the modernization of TCM theory system.Purpose: Passing investigate and analysis the combination of the Traditional Chinese Medicine type(TCM type), the arrangement of the Traditional Chinese Medicine symptoms (TCM symptom) and the distribution of the old-age women's familiar disease, this research probed into the instruction dialectical meaning of the doctrine of the correlation of five viscera to the Chinese medicine clinic.Method: This research investigated 162 old-age women in the cross section inquisition, according to the current generally accepted standard to discriminate the TCM type and TCM symptom and collected the disease history data and index sign such as the bone density, symptoms of menopause etc. to diagnose the disease. In the end, we combined the related index sign to analysis.Result: (1) The sicken rate of kidney deficiency(96.3%), heart deficiency (69.75%) and liver deficiency(55.56%) was high. 98.15% of total old-age women investigated had one organ deficiency at least; (2) There were 159 cases have kidney deficiency, heart deficiency or liver deficiency. 85.53% of them were multi-zang type's deficiency, but the single zang type's deficiency had 14.47% only; (3)141 cases' bone density was lower than the normal people; 63 cases among those (38.89%) matched PMOP diagnosis standard; But the people who had multi-zang type were found lower bone density, shorter in the height, longer years of menopause than the people who had the single organ type (4) Though multi-zang type the disease was dirty and the disease machine together, the main symptoms that had another a dirty certificate arrange to differ from a single and dirty certificate obviously.Conclusion: (1) Kidney deficiency is the highest TCM type, which matched the basic understanding of traditional Chinese medicine theories about the old-age people; (2) The sicken ratio of heart deficiency and liver deficiency is more than 50%。In addition to kidney deficiency, these two organs' deficiency type should be think much of in the pathology, the prevention and cure meaning in the disease; (3) In the kidney deficiency, heart deficiency or liver deficiency, because two organs type and three organs type are the widespread dialectical final outcome of the disease, according to the Chinese medicine dialectic and therapy principle, we should synthesize to adjust to cure diseases with the three organ' deficiency type as for center; (4) Beacause current clinical dialectical standard actually based on the main symptoms of the single organ type, it don't reflect the fact that disease always occurred with mult-organ type. The dialectical value of the combination of TCM type and the arrangement of the TCM symptom should give more attention. This research hint, with the doctrine of the correlation of five viscera for guide, carrying on the analysis on the combination of TCM type and the arrangement of the TCM symptom of the multi-organ type, will contribute to build up the practical dialectic standard for the Chinese medicine clinic.
