| Objective:To evaluate the hemocompatibility of glutaraldehyde(GA)-tanned bovine pericardium treated by SOB and GA-tanned valved bovine jugular veins treated by tannic acid,so as to look into the prospect of their clinical application. Methods:The hemocompatibility of GA-tanned bovine pericardium treated by SOB solution and GA-tanned valved bovine jugular veins were evaluated by using dynamic cruor time test, blood platelet adhesion test, hemolysis test,D-dimeride determination and complement activation test.Result:①The curve of absorbance-clotting time of two kinds of bovine pericardium was similar in dynamic cruor time test. The curve of absorbance-clotting time of valved bovine jugular veins treated by tannic acid declined more slowly than that of valved bovine jugular veins only tanned by glutaraldehyde.②For bovine pericardium there was no significant difference between test and control groups in blood platelet adhesion test.Blood platelet adhesion of valved bovine jugular veins treated by tannic acid was fewer than that of control group.③For bovine pericardium the rate of hemolysis was 8.3%,for valved bovine jugular veins the rate of hemolysis was 0.7%.④The D-dimeride contents of all bioprostheses are in normal level, and the D-dimeride content of GA-tanned bovine pericardium treated by SOB solution is lower than that of control group(p<0.05).There was no significant difference between test and control groups(p>0.05).⑤In complement activation tests, the level of complement C3a des Arg in test groups were lower than that of control groups(p<0.05).Conclusion:GA-tanned bovine pericardium treated by SOB solution and GA-tanned valved bovine jugular veins meet the demands of cardiac interstitial implanted materials in hemocompatibility. |
